This afternoon while changing Finley's diaper, I joked with him affectionately:
ME: Ooh, this is stinky, you stinky little scumbag*!
(*scumbag is an odd term of endearment matt uses for us, using a strong new york accent for humor)
FIN: I'm not a scumbaaaaaaaag!ME: Well then who is? Is daddy?
FIN: Naaaah!
ME: Is Clivey?
FIN: Naaaah! Just Julie is!!
ME: Whaaaaaat?!?!
FIN: (while laughing) Just joking! 'Hers' is not.
None of us is scumbags....we're just the Nehers.

we just got our Christmas card and birth announcement in the mail. sooooooo cute. y'all are such an adorable family. and i love the blog's new look. your house is awesome! hope we see you next time you come to town. maybe i should quit my job so i can see you :)
